My name is Katera Renae and I am a student, daughter, sister, partner, friend, reader, writer, speaker, advocate, wellness enthusiast, trauma informed black woman and so much more!

A birth giver to all things, my identities are endless!

 

I am the sole creator and writer of A Cup of Kk, a lifestyle, wellness and mental health centered personal blog that has been specially curated from my personal experiences and education to help improve your wellness!

 

In addition to this blog, I’m also the writer and host of Peace, Be Still with Katera Renae, a podcast dedicated to improving mental health, wellness, self care, personal development and all things related. 

 

One day, while brainstorming ideas for my podcast, I realized that there were so many topics I wanted to discuss, but the podcast platform wasn’t the right space. Some topics deserve a more in depth description and discussion, Thus, the birth of A Cup Of Kk.

 

Aside from the wellness space, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Minor in Public Health. I work as a Family Assistance Social Worker, which specializes in family and/or crisis intervention. I enjoy building my skills and indulging in new hobbies, such as reading, writing, shopping, sewing, working, crocheting, and so much more!
