My Latest TJ Maxx/Marshalls Finds

One very important thing to know about me is that I absolutely LOVE a good deal! I’ve always known that TJ Maxx and Marshalls had good finds for discounted prices, but I never had the patience or time to actually spend time in the stores shopping.

This past summer, that all changed! Now, TJ Maxx/Marshalls (more so Marshalls if I’m being honest) are my go to stores

Many people don’t believe me when I tell them that there are so many of the same products at TJ/Marshall’s that they have at stores like Target for a discounted price!

I’ve been so excited about many of my newest products that I wanted to make a post and highlight them.

I believe my obsession with TJ Maxx and Marshalls began earlier this summer, when I was on the search for the perfect summer body butter to compliment my newest dresses and skirts. While I was out casually shopping one day, I came across so many different scents in the Bath and Body section at Marshalls! However, I didn’t just find body butters, but body washes and scrubs as well. I

kept going back and began to pair my favorite scents in the form of body scrubs, washes and butter, and I feel like it opened up a whole new aspect of self care for me

I actually discovered on TikTok a while back that your scents will last longer if you pair similar or exact fragrances from each body product! :)

No matter what time of year it is, my favorite scents are always warm- vanilla, almond, coconut, shea, etc. I don’t know why, but I just naturally gravitate towards these scents. I feel like they suit me so well! Any time I try to switch to sweeter, lighter scents, it never sticks because I always go back.

Nonetheless, the brand that I’ve been using consistently for the last four months is called Body Prescriptions- which is a clean, cruelty free, unisex skincare brand. Water is the first ingredient in ALL of their products, something that is definitely rare nowadays.

In the video above, the ‘You Have What It Takes’ Sweet Almond Butter Butter and ‘Boss Babe’ shea butter and almond milk exfoliating body scrub are shown. While these are the products I’m currently using, I’ve also used the ‘Rose’ body scrub as well!

I think one thing that attracts me to this brand is the creative, colorful designs and names for the different scents. Additionally, I enjoy the idea of not having my body lotion in traditional containers. The aesthetic of having rounded bottles is slightly luxurious to me, however, I think this may be a case of me romanticizing the little things in my life- which is perfectly okay! :)

Body Prescriptions doesn’t just carry bath and body products, but skincare as well! I discovered this on my last big trip to Marshalls. Shown in the video above is a Body Prescriptions Retinol Face

Cream that I use twice per day, leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized (don’t forget to moisturize and sunscreen your necks too, ladies!). After researching, I realized that this brand has more face creams. Though I didn’t see them while I was there, they may be available at your local Marshalls, at TJ Maxx or even at Amazon!

Another brand that I’ve discovered from Marshalls is the Clean Beauty skincare line. Though I’ve always had relatively clear skin, I still like to follow a skincare routine to ensure softness, moisturize and cleanliness.

I definitely like to keep it simple and always ensure that I apply:

  • Cleanser

  • Serum

  • Moisturizer

  • Sunscreen

In this specific order! I am currently using Clean Beauty’s Deep Hydration Facial Serum and Deep Hydration Facial Serum- which both have rose oil, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. I’m also using Body Prescriptions Retinol Face Cream and Black Girl Sunscreen.

My skincare routine is currently under $40, with my Black Girl Sunscreen being the most expensive product ($15). I’ve had it all year and I use it daily!

I used to shop at Ulta and Sephora for the high quality, name brand products and pay full price. I can honestly say that I don’t notice any difference in my skin since switching over to products from TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Because I have naturally clear skin, as long as my skin isn’t breaking out or dry- I’m satisfied!

If you struggle with skin issues such as acne and Ulta or Sephora has products that can help you, continue shopping there! I am in no way, shape or form shaming anyone. What works for me may not work for you, an

d that’s okay. However, if you’ve been spending your hard earned money at these stores and see little to no results, I recommend seeing a dermatologist, changing your diet, or switching to simpler products that can be found at TJ/Marshalls!

If I went on and on about all the things I’ve purchased from TJ/Marshalls, this read would be 10 minutes! Body Prescriptions and Clean Beauty are both available at TJ Maxx and Marshalls, as well as Amazon! However, after comparing prices, I noticed that these products are $5-10 LESS at Marshalls. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but for frequent shoppers, this adds up.

TJ/Marshalls doesn’t just have rare, discounted finds (along with their own brands) but they also have name brand products. The best part is, EVERYTHING is noticeably cheaper.

Your pockets will thank you!
